The Pancake® heating tray is the perfect drain pan for outdoor units in harsh winter conditions. The heated tray prevents condensation water from freezing, allowing it to drain off to a well or water drain in all conditions. This way, there is no ice formation both below and in front of the outdoor unit and the heat pump can operate continuously without problems in very low temperatures. The UV-resistant Pancake® has a patented doublelayer design in which the heating mat is fully integrated into the product. A Pancake® drain pan can be mounted close to the unit mounted, so that every drop of condensation remains liquid and is drained away.
